Come & Join me in Derawan, Sangalaki, Kakaban, & Maratua, Indonesia - with Sea Safari Cruises from July 2 to 8, 2017.

 

Schedule's as below:

 

Day 1:

Welcome to Tarakan Island , please find our representative in the airport. They will send you to Habour to meet Sea Safari Boat. Welcome drink will be served to welcome you on board. Safety procedure, cabin allocation and introduction will take place while on the way to Derawan.

Day 2: Derawan
Derawan is located at East of Kalimantan, where you can find very interesting critters such as flamboyant cuttlefish, squat lobsters, and seahorse and crocodile fish. One of the best dives in the world. 4 Dives.

Day 3: Kakaban
Amazing Jellyfish Lake, slightly above sea level, where a thousand of non stinging jellyfish live. The non-stinging jellyfish live over there making it an interesting ittinerary. The stingless properties came about when the jellyfishes are trapped inside the lake for probably centuries and because there are almost no major predators in the lake, they start to lose their natural defense. There exist only 2 in the world. Don’t missed it. Beside that they also offer variety of coral and big pelagic. 4 Dives.

Day 4: Maratua
Know as big fish country, you will have a good chance to see shark, tuna, eagle ray and school of barracuda. The reef is covered with soft and stony coral, but the channel is the main attraction. The reefs are also home to an incredible variety of soft and hard corals, some of which are very rare, and many crustaceans of all sizes such as the giant clam. 3-4 Dives.

Day 5: Sangalaki
Sangalaki Island is one of the richest diving grounds in Indonesia, The currents vary from gentle to moderately strong, there are no walls, and little drift, just an abundance of rare and exotic marine life, including giant turtles, and the famous schools of Manta rays, or devil-fish. Snorkeling or diving is wonderful way to observe them. They will often to come and greet you. 4 Dives.

Day 6: Derawan
Before we finish our trip, let’s visit Derawan again, to catch up some missing dive side on day 2. Derawan is a place for a bit drift dives and a bit of muck. Other than this, this island is very good for macro life underwater. This is a great place for macro photography. 2 Dives.

Day 7: Tarakan
Breakfast will be served on board. After breakfast, preparation for disembarkation and our representative will take you to the airport. We wish you a very nice trip ahead and hope to see you again.
